More than ten years Sonora Broka has worked
with national and international films by making programms for the International
cinema forum “Arsenal”, the Riga North Country film days, the Interantional
children film festival “Berimora kino” and the Riga International Film festival.
She also has organised festivals, directed SKF “Arsenal” for two years and
later she coordinated the making of “Riga IFF”, where now she works as a
creative director. Sonora also writes film reviews and writings for the
magazines like “Kinoraksti” and others. She has been a jury in many film
Igor Prassel was born in 1971 in the Slovenian coas town Koper-Capodistria. From 1992 he is running a monthly series devoted to animated film at the Slovenian Cinematheque, where from 2017 he is working as film curator. He served as jury and program selection member at important international animated and short film festivals. From 2010 he is lecturing on history and theory of animated film at the University of Nova Gorica. In 2012 the Slovenian Cinematheque published his book "The Filmography of Slovene Animated Film 1952-2012". In 2004 he founded the Animateka International Animated Film Festival, where he is the artistic director.
Gints Berzins (b.1968), photographer
and cinematographer, LGC, graduated in cinematography from the Moscow Film
School (VGIK) in 1993. In 2002, he established the film camera rental company
ARKOGINTS and is its managing director. He currently works as a freelance
cinematographer and stills photographer. In 2004, Gints Berzins became
president of the Latvian Guild of Cinematographers (LGC).
